Woo addressed that this week, which takes place from November 18-24, is a good time to reflect on what health care providers are actually prescribing, the appropriateness of what they are prescribing, and to know if each antibiotic is the right one for the pathogen that you are treating.
Woo also discussed the COVID-19 pandemic, stewardships, the threat of antibiotic resistance, and the future of nurse practitioners with antibiotics.
