In less than a month, students can obtain an in-demand certification and start their journey towards becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). A CNA provides quality care for residents in long-term care facilities, hospitals, home healthcare, and hospice settings. This role is in high-demand and ideal for a personable and compassionate individual seeking an entry-level position in the nursing or healthcare field.

By the end of the training, students are prepared to take their CNA exam and are fully equipped with hands-on training under their belt. The training does not require any pre-nursing courses, and registration is an online, self-service process.

Instruction focuses on Basic Life Support Certification, which covers CPR, First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator usage. Other topics discussed include vital sign skills, infection control and other critical skills needed when delivering care.

Registration is immediately available, with training beginning October 14, 2019.
